The Secondary School is divided into Middle School and High School.
Middle School:
Middle School at Hillcrest is made up of Grades 6 through 8.
The procedures listed under Hillcrest Admissions are followed. The Admissions Office arranges for the testing in cooperation with the Middle School Principal and staff. Standardized tests are used. The following sections of the standardized test are administered:
Language Arts
Math
These two sections must be up to grade level for the applicant to be considered for admission.
Students must score at least the grade level of the class they are being considered for admission. Every applicant will write an autobiographical composition as well. The Admissions Committee will interview applicants.
Middle School enrollment will not exceed 25 in any classroom.
High School:
High School at Hillcrest consists of Grade 9 through 12. These grades may also be referred to by the following classes: Grade 9 – freshman, Grade 10 – sophomore, Grade 11 – junior, and Grade 12 – senior.
The procedures listed under Hillcrest Admissions are followed. Members of the High School Admissions Committee will interview the applicants.
Students must score at least the grade level of the class they are being considered for admission. Every applicant will write an autobiographical composition as well. The Admissions Committee will interview applicants.
No new student will be admitted into Hillcrest for Grade 12, unless they have Cooperating Body status. High School classrooms will not exceed 30 students.
