PRAYER LETTER FOR 18TH FEBRUARY 2021

February 22, 2021
By Moms In Prayer

He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.

Psalms 25:9, 12 NIV

We are often anxious about the future, wondering what decision to make and what is the right way to go. What seems perfectly fine today may turn awry along the way and what works for one person may be completely wrong for another. How do we figure it out and make the right decision? A motivational speaker may give you 7 keys or 10 points to look out for. They may be useful but as believers we have repeated assurance from God’s word that the Lord, who knows the end from the beginning and also knows us, is willing to guide us. What he requires from us is: to stop trying to figure it all out on our own, humble ourselves to ask him for directions, and trust him enough to follow his leading.  Let us not imagine that God leading us is something mysterious or far fetched with some mystical requirements. It may be, among other ways, a still small voice in our hearts, a peaceful assurance about a decision we are making, restlessness when we are veering the wrong way, advice from someone that resonates within us or an open door. What we can be sure of is that when we humble ourselves to ask for God’s leading, he promised that he will instruct us in the way we should choose.

Blessings and grace.

Sincerely, Kiyenpiya Mafuyai – Meeting Leader -- 0803-702-4734
