  • Student Teachers. We welcome student teachers here for your international placement! Please inquire.

Are you called to join us in “educating global disciples of Christ”? We want to talk with you!

We seek teacher applicants with qualifications and experience in US, Canadian, UK or European curriculum K-12 education. Our staff has the responsibility to teach and disciple students cross-culturally from a Biblical perspective.

Expatriate teachers are hired in partnership with a missions agency, likely TeachBeyond Hillcrest pays a robust stipend, and expatriate staff work with a missions partner to raise support for home-country related expenses including medical coverage and evacuation, annual travel, pension, other home country obligations, and any supplement to the stipend needed depending on family circumstances. This may be intimidating at first, but this way you will have a support network, and the finances will match your circumstances, enabling longevity on the field as God calls you. We recommend TeachBeyond as our missions agency, with substantial experience in mobilizing Christian teachers. You will apply to both Hillcrest and the missions agency at the same time. Following a successful interview, we would accept you, "pending acceptance from a missions organization." Start with the inquiry link below.

Expatriate teachers may also be seconded through a cooperating mission agency. This option helps directly provide high quality education for children of mission workers, and furthers the school's mission of educating global disciples of Christ. Cooperating body secondments are fully support raised positions. We can help link you up with one of our cooperating bodies.

Nigerian teachers are hired locally as Direct Hire, with salary and benefits paid directly by Hillcrest. Apply at the link below.

Newly graduated teachers will appreciate the immediate challenge, the opportunity to live in a new culture and the deeper experience gained. Experienced teachers wanting a change have an opportunity to serve for a short or long term. Initial contracts are for 2 years, and may be renewed. Sometimes, a couple will serve together in Nigeria, with one spouse serving with a missions agency, and the other spouse teaching at Hillcrest.
