Pineview Hostel Overview
Pineview Hostel is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for students. Serving as a home away from home for students in grades five through twelve, the hostel ensures that the Hostel Parents fulfill the role of guardians in the absence of students' natural or legal parents. Additionally, Pineview Hostel fosters the spiritual development of its residents.
Student Conduct
All students are required to adhere to the school’s rules as well as additional hostel-specific guidelines, including regulations on conduct, curfew, and activities. Upon entry, students must sign a "Hostel Covenant Agreement," which outlines the expected relationship between hostel parents and students. This agreement clarifies that hostel parents act as guardians for students under their care.
Application Process
Students applying for admission to Hillcrest School may simultaneously apply to Pineview Hostel. After the school admissions interview, parents and students can schedule a personal interview with the Hostel Parents. It is important to note that admission to the school does not guarantee placement in the hostel. A separate application form for the hostel must be completed and submitted via email. Bookings for hostel interviews must be arranged through the Admissions Secretary.
