Dear Parents, House-Parents and Staff:

Psalm 3:3: "But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high." This is a beautiful reminder of God's powerful promise that in the midst of life’s challenges and uncertainties, God is our shield and more. 

No matter what struggles we may be facing, rest assured that the Lord is our protector and shield. His love envelops us like a strong fortress, providing refuge and safety in times of trouble. The storms may rage, but His presence shields us from the arrows of doubt and fear.

Moreover, God is not just a shield; He is also the source of our glory. In Him, we find strength, dignity, and purpose. We are fearfully and wonderfully made, and our identity is rooted in the love and grace of our Heavenly Father. When challenges threaten to diminish our spirit, remember that we carry the glory of God within us.

Even in the darkest moments, when it feels like our heads are bowed low in weariness, the Lord is the One who lifts them high. His loving hands gently guide us, lifting the weight of burdens and restoring our hope. Allow His light to dispel the shadows, for in His presence, we find joy, peace, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Today, embrace the truth of Psalm 3:3 with confidence. God surrounds us with His protection, crowns us with His glory, and lifts our heads high. We are not alone on this journey, and with Him by our side, we can face each day with courage and assurance.

May the Lord's presence be our shield, may His glory be our strength, and may He continually lift our heads high.

PRAYER  REQUESTS  FOR  21st MARCH 2024

ADORATION: 

“Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens! May your glory shine over all the earth.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭57‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬                     

CONFESSION: 

“I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭32‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ 

THANKSGIVING:

• For God’s faithfulness and truth
• For God’s daily protection.
• For God’s blessings and goodness.
• For the wonderful promises of God’s word.
• For God’s mercies that are new every morning. 
• For God’s love that’s eternal. 

SUPPLICATION:

• Pray that the word of God will be a lamp to guide the feet of our children and a light for their path. 
• Pray that our children will boldly declare Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior 
• Pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to assist our children and fill them with His wisdom. 
• Pray for our school to be filled with God’s knowledge and righteousness. 
• Pray for the teachers and staff to continue to work in accordance with God’s wisdom, patience and love. 
• Pray for financial doors to open for parents. 
• Pray for God’s grace for administration in all planning and decision-making this school year. 
• Pray for peace and security in our nation. 
• Pray for the Nigerian economy to be restored and strengthened. 
• Pray for our seniors to finish well and strong. 
• Pray for our Alumni that the mind of Christ will continue to dwell in them.
• Pray for God’s grace, mercy and protection for the Senior Retreat and the Senior Trip. 
• Pray for God’s will to be done on earth as it is done in heaven.
