Hillcrest students will learn to develop a Biblical perspective on the world. Students are encouraged to practice Christian discipleship and service, and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Hillcrest is committed to integrate a biblical Christian worldview in all levels of instruction. Our affiliation with the Association of Christian School International (ACSI) helps to bring this focus to the forefront of every teacher’s curriculum.
The school Chaplain, or Youth Pastor, oversees formal and informal nurturing of the spiritual life of students and staff.
Bible is taught in every grade level and all students attend a weekly chapel service.
Students are encouraged to participate in community service.
Middle school and High School students may choose to participate in discipleship classes.
On Sundays the Chaplain or Youth Pastor oversees the Sunday worship services in the Hillcrest Chapel on campus. He also conducts communion services or other special services. Services are planned to keep an inter-denominational balance. The offerings collected from the Sunday morning services are used for the Chaplain’s Fund which is distributed to help a variety of local ministries.
