For parents of children who struggle to learn in an international school setting, finding effective intervention can be a challenge. Student Support Services at Hillcrest School is one answer to this challenge.
Students are evaluated at the request of parents and/or teachers. From the results, an individualized, educational plan is designed to address the specific area of need. Students’ areas of weakness are strengthened through a combination of in-class support and small group or one-on-one tutorials by one of our Educational Assistants. Over a period of time, the student begins to function independently in their learning.
Students in all grades can and do benefit from the intervention.
